A sunny day in Nashville, all set for a good day of cricket. NCA won the toss and elected to bat first in the hope to beat NCG. All set for a crucial game of cricket and nothing more to ask for from the weather perspective.

NCA's premier opening pair takes the field to bat with Gary and Rahul from NCG to open the bowling spell. In form Gary bowled with aggression striking a blow to the helmet and got his wicket soon after unsettling him.

Sujay soon got out for a great out swinger from Gary. Bharat was soon accounted for and as in form Gary troubled the top 3 batsman, Gary ran out of his allotted spell of overs, while Rahul was holding up the other end.

Gideon and Srimanth started the rebuilding process while second change Nitin was in the middle of a great spell of bowling where he accounted for the most of the lower middle order. A useful contribution from Gideon, Srimanth and Aniket made NCA reach a decent total of 128 runs after losing 7 wickets.

With a decent total to bowl at NCA had a glimmer of hope to win the game, but the hopes were soon destroyed and demolished by Nitin’s blitzkrieg and well balanced support from Rahul.

Nitin started taking on to the NCA bowlers and started shower of sixes and boundaries. NCA tried most of the regular bowlers and the only hope was Bharat who was the highest wicket taker for NCA for the season. Nitin was in the aggressive mood and started taking on Bharat by hitting him 3 sixes in first 3 balls.

NCA players were doomed with Nitin dominating as he reached his 50 in the 7th over only. The First wicket partnership almost got NCG to the presented total before Nitin fell after a spectacular 79 of mere 34 balls, with 7 sixers and 5 fours. Rohan replaced Nitin to join Rahul and the pair soon brought NCG home, by chasing the target in 13 overs.

It was a dominating performance from NCG to beat NCA and enter TCL T20 final with NCC. Nitin was awarded Man of the match for his outstanding innings.
