Sensational bowling performance form krishna and mayank and solid batting from Nandkishore makes NCG win it's first TCL 2010 game against Smyrna Cricket Club (SCC).

SCC won the toss and elected to bat first. Kishore, the captain of NCG had a plan in mind with giving ball to the pacer Krishna to shatter SCC's top order batsmans. In his first over, Krishna took Rajesh over the point through electric diving catch from Santosh. Rajesh Padmanaban, a new comer for NCG took charge along with Krishna and bowled exceptionally well. While Rajesh was trying to gain control over his swings, on the other end Krishna kept of cruising along and trapped sailesh. Rajesh, soon learned control and with his quick swing bowling got Ram caught in the slip through Tejas. Krishna kept on sweeping of the other end easily. Kishore introduced Rohan from the other end. Rohan in his first over got Rajkumar bowled. Bimal and Rohan both bowled good and kept the batsmans under control. As Bimal was not successful in getting any wickets, Kishore on the other end introduced sensational leg-spinner Mayank Gupta. Mayank with his wrist spin bowling got SCC batsmans always wondering. He got kishore bowled who had no idea about the spin. Mayank soon was successful in getting Isaac and Saurabh bowled. It was Krishna and Mayank brilliant bowling performance which restricted SCC to low score of 65 runs.

It was NCG's turn to bat. Kishore along with Tejas opened the batting. Kishore as usual misjudged the ball and hit in the air too early to get out in the first over. Vibhor, a new comer for NCG came to bat. Vivek on the other end with his controlled bowling got NCG's seasoned opener Tejas LBW who was batting after a long time. SCC was on fire getting two wickets in first two overs. Kishore decided to send proven opener batsman Nandkishore who with vibhor played responsible innings. Both of them took team to the decent score of 60 before they got out. Rohan and Santosh batted well to bring NCG with a victory over SCC.

Krishna was awarded man of the match for his outstanding bowling performance.
